There is a correlation between the market for tobacco products and the market for non-tobacco products. The non-tobacco products market is offering alternatives for users of conventional tobacco products.

Former smokers have looked for other tobacco formats such as chewing tobacco and snus (also known as pouched tobacco) and the number of users who are looking for nicotine- and tobacco free alternatives has increased.
